Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- minimum 6 months host experience
- restaurant service background and experience
- CA food handlers certification
- TIPS certification or certified within 90 days of employment
- must be able to work weekends and holidays
- fluent in English
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in high paced work environment
- ability to multitask
- troubleshooting and prioritizing skills
- ability to operate Yelp reservation system with confidence and manage restaurant flow
- ability to check Tock reservations

Job Duties
- Checks-in with the manager/supervisor at the start of each shift
- prepares for the day to ensure restaurant operation is ready for the business levels of that day ten minutes before opening
- ensures the front-of-house looks presentable to the guest and keeps the host stand clean, organized and stocked with menus
- attends line ups and is aware of other promotions and events that are going on at the winery
- welcomes guests in a warm and friendly manner and thanks guests when they are departing while inviting them back
- responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- oversees the seating plan and monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
