Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Ability to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Friendly and able to smile frequently
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple guests while generating enthusiasm for Dave & Buster's
- Skilled at calmly responding to dissatisfied guests and calling issues to manager's attention
- Must demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English
- Must be dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times
- Must be at least 16 years of age
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Act as ambassador to the building, greeting guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action
- Bid farewell to guests leaving, ensure everything was satisfactory and invite guests to return
- Prepare for the shift by ensuring area is stocked with supplies including menus, silverware, power cards, gift cards etc
- Review the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station
- Ensure all menus are stocked and properly cleaned and maintained
- Manage the flow from the front doors, efficiently helping guests with needs and directing as needed
