Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • able to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
  • able to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
  • able to read and write handwritten notes
  • able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • able to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
  • able to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
  • able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service or cashier experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • friendly and positive attitude
  • basic math and cash handling skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • ability to read and write in English

Job Duties

  • deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in an ideal celebration environment
  • greet guests with positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones
  • keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and inviting them to return
  • prepare for shifts by stocking supplies such as menus, silverware, power cards, gift cards
  • review cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
  • ensure menus are stocked, cleaned and maintained
  • check for restocking of necessary supplies
  • discuss problem areas with manager
  • conduct merchandise inventory during and after shift
  • foster cooperative and harmonious working relationships with team members
  • notify manager of unhappy guests
  • assist team members as needed
  • manage table turn timing by scouting open tables, bussing and cleaning tables
  • rotate seating to ensure fairness
  • manage flow from front doors, efficiently assisting guests
  • manage wait times and communicate with guests, team members and managers
  • deliver silverware as guests are seated
  • make timely and accurate bill calculations
  • greet and assist guests efficiently while processing transactions
  • reconcile monies from cash banks
  • complete to go order transactions accurately
  • sell merchandise from front desk
  • maintain friendly demeanor and frequent smiles
  • communicate effectively with multiple guests generating enthusiasm
  • adhere to dress guidelines looking neat, clean and professional
  • read and communicate clearly in English
  • articulate greetings, requests and farewells
  • respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and escalate issues to manager
  • must be at least 18 years of age
