Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights and weekends as required
- Ability to stand and walk 100 percent of shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to reach, bend and stoop frequently
- Must meet physical demands of the job including long periods of standing and active movement
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in restaurant, retail, or cashier roles preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively and enthusiastically with guests
- Skilled at calmly responding to dissatisfied guests and escalating issues to management
- Ability to read, speak and write English clearly
- Friendly personality with frequent smiling
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members to promote positive team morale
- Basic math and cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
- Act as ambassador by greeting guests with a positive attitude and coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales and telephones
- Keep supervisor informed of problems or significant issues and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and invite them to return
- Prepare for shifts by stocking menus, silverware, power cards and gift cards
- Review cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
- Manage seating flow and wait times efficiently to maximize table turn timing
- Greet and assist guests while processing transactions with a smile
- Reconcile monies from cash banks and complete order transactions accurately
