Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Must be able to work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distractions
- Must be able to read and write handwritten notes
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to move about the facility and stand for long periods
- Must be able to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in restaurant, retail, or cashier roles preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance according to dress guidelines
- Skilled at calmly addressing dissatisfied Guests and escalating issues
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members
- Fluent in English with clear articulation
- Friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
- Ability to manage time and seating arrangements effectively
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled Guest experience through food, drinks and games
- Act as ambassador to the building, greeting Guests positively and coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or significant matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Bid farewell to Guests leaving, ensuring satisfaction and inviting them to return
- Prepare for shift by stocking area with supplies such as menus, silverware, Power cards, gift cards
- Review cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk and Host station
- Ensure menus are stocked and maintained properly
- Restock necessary supplies and bring all areas up to standard
- Discuss problem areas with Manager
- Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shift if applicable
- Maintain favorable relationships with Team Members to promote a cooperative work environment
- Notify Manager of any unhappy Guests
- Assist other Team Members as needed
- Drive table turn timing by scouting open tables, bussing and cleaning tables
- Rotate seating fairly according to guidelines
- Manage flow from front doors, helping Guests and directing as needed
- Manage wait times and communicate information to Guests, Team Members, and Managers
- Deliver silverware as Guests are seated
- Make timely and accurate bill transactions
- Greet and assist Guests efficiently while processing transactions
- Reconcile monies from banks
- Complete "To Go" order transactions and ensure accuracy
- Sell merchandise from Front Desk if applicable
- Maintain friendly demeanor and smile frequently
- Communicate effectively with multiple Guests and generate enthusiasm
- Dress neatly and professionally
- Read, communicate, and articulate clearly in English
- Respond calmly to dissatisfied Guests and report issues
- Meet age requirement of at least 16 years old
