Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in restaurant, retail or cashier roles is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
  • Act as an ambassador by greeting guests positively and coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephone operations
  • Keep supervisor informed of issues and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and encourage return visits
  • Prepare for shifts by stocking supplies such as menus, silverware, power cards and gift cards
  • Review cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
  • Ensure menus are stocked and maintained
  • Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts if applicable
  • Foster favorable working relationships with team members to promote morale and productivity
  • Notify manager of unhappy guests and assist team members as needed
  • Manage table turn timing by scouting and cleaning tables
  • Rotate seating for fairness and balance
  • Manage guest flow and wait times, communicating information to relevant parties
  • Deliver silverware as guests are seated
  • Calculate bill transactions accurately and process guest transactions with a smile
  • Reconcile money from cash banks
  • Complete accurate take-out order transactions
  • Sell merchandise from front desk if applicable
  • Maintain friendly demeanor and frequent smiling
  • Communicate effectively with multiple guests and generate enthusiasm
  • Dress neatly and professionally
  • Read and communicate clearly in English
  • Respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and escalate issues to manager
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
