Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
  • Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distractions
  • Ability to read and write handwritten notes
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to move about facility and stand for long periods
  • Ability to walk or stand 100 percent of the shift
  • Ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
  • Must comply with company dress guidelines

Job Duties

  • Deliver unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating fun
  • Act as ambassador by greeting guests with positivity and enthusiasm, coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephone handling
  • Keep supervisor informed of any problems or unusual situations and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • Bid farewell to guests leaving, ensuring satisfaction and inviting return
  • Prepare for shifts by stocking supplies such as menus, silverware, power cards, and gift cards
  • Review cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station
  • Ensure menus are stocked and maintained
  • Restock necessary supplies and bring areas to standard
  • Discuss problem areas with manager
  • Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts if applicable
  • Maintain favorable working relationships with team members to promote a cooperative and productive environment
  • Notify manager of unhappy guests
  • Assist team members as needed
  • Drive table turn timing by scouting, bussing and cleaning tables
  • Rotate seating fairly to balance dining areas
  • Manage flow from the front doors, helping guests and directing as needed
  • Manage wait times and communicate information to guests, team members, and managers
  • Deliver silverware as guests are seated
  • Make timely and accurate bill calculations
  • Greet and assist guests efficiently during transactions
  • Reconcile monies from their banks
  • Complete 'to go' order transactions and ensure accuracy
  • Sell merchandise from the front desk if applicable
  • Maintain friendliness and smile frequently
  • Communicate effectively with multiple guests while generating enthusiasm
  • Dress neatly and professionally
  • Read and communicate in English clearly
  • Articulate greetings, requests for assistance, and farewells
  • Respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and escalate issues as needed
