Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to move about the facility and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
- Must demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English
- Must be skilled at calmly responding to dissatisfied guests and calling issues to manager's attention
- Must be friendly and able to smile frequently.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Basic math skills for processing transactions
- Experience in restaurant, retail, or cashier roles preferred but not required
- Ability to read and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to remain calm when responding to dissatisfied guests
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Professional appearance and adherence to dress guidelines
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks, and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all-out fun
- Act as an ambassador to the building, greeting guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Bid farewell to guests leaving, ensuring satisfaction and inviting guests to return
- Prepare for shifts by ensuring the area is stocked with supplies such as menus, silverware, power cards, and gift cards
- Review cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station
- Manage seating flow following guidelines to ensure fairness and balance in dining areas
- Handle guest wait times and communicate information to guests, team members, and managers
- Process guest transactions efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Assist other team members as needed and maintain a favorable working relationship
- Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts
- Notify manager of any guest perceived to be unhappy
- Drive table turn timing by scouting open tables and bussing and cleaning tables as necessary
- Reconcile monies from cash banks
- Sell merchandise from front desk as applicable
- Greet and assist guests efficiently and with a smile while processing transactions.
