Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Ability to work days, nights and weekends as required
  • Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and write handwritten notes
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to move about facility and stand for long periods
  • Ability to walk or stand 100 percent of shift

  • Must demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in restaurant, retail or cashiering preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively

  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
  • Act as ambassador by greeting guests with a positive attitude and coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales and telephones
  • Keep supervisor informed of significant problems and suggest corrective actions
  • Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and invite them to return
  • Prepare shift by stocking area with menus, silverware, power cards and gift cards
  • Review cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
  • Ensure all menus are stocked and maintained
  • Check for restocking of necessary supplies and bring areas up to standard
  • Discuss problem areas with manager
  • Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shift if applicable
  • Maintain favorable working relationships with team members to promote cooperative and harmonious work climate
  • Notify manager of unhappy guests
  • Assist other team members as needed
  • Drive table turn timing by scouting, bussing and cleaning tables
  • Rotate seating appropriately to ensure fairness and balance
  • Manage guest flow efficiently from front doors
  • Manage wait times and communicate with guests, team members and managers
  • Deliver silverware as guests are seated
  • Make timely and accurate bill transactions
  • Greet and assist guests efficiently while processing transactions
  • Reconcile monies from banks
  • Complete to go order transactions and ensure accuracy
  • Sell merchandise from front desk if applicable
  • Smile frequently and be friendly
  • Communicate effectively with multiple guests while generating enthusiasm
  • Dress neat, clean and professional
  • Read and communicate in English clearly
  • Articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance and farewells
  • Calmly respond to dissatisfied guests and escalate issues to manager
  • Must be at least 16 years old
