Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • Level 4 Gaming License required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but routine instructions
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, talk, hear, and lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in a moderate noise and smoky casino environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Handle initial cordial reception to the guests upon arrival and promptly escort them to dining tables
  • Advise guests of waiting times during reservation periods
  • Assist and facilitate the restaurant seating and reservation system
  • Take guest beverage orders and inform guests of food offerings in buffet settings
  • Seat guests and present menus in ala carte settings
  • Receive payments courteously and adhere to cash control policies
  • Answer guest questions and refer complex inquiries to management
  • Maintain the podium area by stocking supplies and cleaning
  • Answer telephones and assist with special requests
  • Provide information on food offerings, hours of operation, and pricing
