Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work daytime shifts only
  • ability to meet physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting up to 20 pounds
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
  • able to stand for extended periods of time
  • ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
  • assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation
  • answer the phone and take to-go orders when necessary
  • keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests
  • wipe and set tables, replace condiments or other supplies
  • scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
  • run food as needed to both bar and server's tables
  • assist the servers with any needs they may have to keep the guests happy
  • respond to any guest's requests during the shift
