Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 months experience in restaurant or hospitality preferred
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Basic customer service skills
  • Mathematical aptitude for cash handling
  • Proficient English communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Physical capability to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand and move throughout the shift
  • Must have good vision and physical dexterity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience of 3 months or longer in restaurant or hospitality preferred
  • Basic to general knowledge of restaurant operations and food service principles
  • General knowledge of customer service skills
  • High school level mathematical aptitude and standard cash handling procedures
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to perform duties with attention to detail and courtesy
  • Ability to handle varied customer service situations tactfully
  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions

Job Duties

  • Greet arriving guests warmly and escort them to their tables
  • Assign seating sections and notify servers of new guests
  • Maintain a visible presence to assist servers and respond to guest requests
  • Deliver food promptly ensuring quality and presentation standards
  • Clear used tableware and reset tables efficiently
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and balance registers
  • Maintain stockroom supplies and ensure dining room cleanliness
