Job Duties
- Provide an exceptional guest experience
- maintain the company image and vision statement
- participate in ongoing training and encourage personal development of associates
- greet guests at the door and escort or direct them to a table
- set tables according to service standards
- introduce guests to their server as they sit down
- communicate with kitchen regarding guest counts and wait times for tables
- always smile and greet guests with a warm welcome
- check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages
- maintain cleanliness of work areas and hostess stand throughout the day
- make silverware roll ups throughout the shift
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- run food and bus tables when extra time is available
- anticipate and address guests’ service needs
- check restrooms and restaurant perimeter every 30 minutes for cleanliness
- thank guests with genuine appreciation
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
- adhere to departmental policies and procedures
- effectively communicate with peers, management, and front of house employees
- be responsible for cleanliness of immediate work area and general property perimeter
- subscribe to proper grooming, dress, and uniform standards
- be courteous to guests and coworkers
- be familiar with all hotel services, features, and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries
