Job Requirements

  • Provide at least 1-year full service restaurant experience or the equivalent
  • Have accurate mathematic skills
  • Know menu and specials
  • Be familiar with restaurant layout including table and station numbers
  • Meet personal schedule requirements punctually
  • Be warm, sincere, and outgoing in personality
  • Stand for long periods while on duty
  • Move safely throughout all restaurant areas
  • Work amid noise in confined crowded spaces
  • Move chairs and transport high chairs or booster seats when necessary
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year full service restaurant experience or equivalent
  • Knowledge of menu and daily specials
  • Familiarity with restaurant layout including table and station numbers
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain warm, sincere, and outgoing under pressure

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
  • Answer phones and take accurate reservation calls
  • Maintain an accurate wait list and communicate wait times to guests
  • Coordinate with bus staff to ensure cleanliness of washrooms and dining areas
  • Manage gift certificate sales and accounting
  • Rearrange tables to accommodate party sizes
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure smooth service
