Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- friendly and approachable demeanor
- basic computer skills for reservation management
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- bilingual in english and spanish is a plus

Job Duties
- create a warm and inviting welcome for guests and establish memorable first impressions
- work with management, servers, bussers, food runners, and bartenders to create a seamless dining experience for guests
- coordinate reservations, walk-ins, and guest waits with guests' preferences, knowledge of seating capacity and server availability while maximizing table turns
- coordinate reservation booking procedures, practices, and overall restaurant revenue management
- answer telephone calls and handle restaurant inquiries with a smile and eagerness to assist
- maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and entrance of the restaurant
- work with a purpose, continually update table statuses, help fellow employees, and complete additional assigned tasks to provide a productive and positive work environment
- attend educational/developmental sessions as required
