Job Requirements
- Must be of at least 16 years of age
- ability to learn point of sale system and basic guest service standards
- must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
- possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
- be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests enthusiastically with a warm friendly smile in accordance with the script provided by management
- make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them
- comply with standard grooming and dress code policies expressed in the employee handbook
- develop personal relationships with guests and ensure that they have a positive and memorable experience
- polish and prepare silverware used in service
- check tables for clean and proper set up before seating guest
- conform to acceptable attendance and punctuality standards as expressed in the employee handbook
- report all unsatisfactory customer experiences to restaurant manager
- inform guests of specials and menu changes
- learn the menu and all of its items so that you can make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
- answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
- let your guests know about future events and promotions and encourage them to attend
- perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
- maintain clean service areas
- be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise
- thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
- be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
