Job Requirements

- Basic proficiency with reservation and point-of-sale systems
- Experience working as a host or in a similar front-of-house position in the hospitality industry
- Familiarity with multiple reservation management software platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of local dining trends and customer service best practices

Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival, providing a warm and professional welcome
- Manage reservations and walk-in guest seating to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate estimated wait times clearly to guests
- Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow
- Answer phone calls to handle reservations, inquiries, and special requests efficiently
- Monitor the dining area to anticipate guest needs and address any concerns proactively
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the host station and maintaining cleanliness
