Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a plus
  • Ability to communicate clearly and warmly with diverse customers
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is beneficial
  • Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are an advantage

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • Seat customers promptly and courteously
  • Engage with customers to introduce Chuy's unique made-from-scratch menu offerings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and entrance area
  • Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with the serving team to ensure smooth service flow
  • Invite guests to return to the restaurant for future visits
