Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic computer skills
Job Qualifications
- Friendly, confident, and professional presence
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, especially with reservations, guest notes, and billing instructions
- Willingness to learn systems, service standards, and floor operations
- Prior host, front desk, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome members and guests in a warm, professional, and polished manner
- Manage waitlists, reservations, and table flow to ensure balanced service and pacing
- Communicate table assignments and guest information clearly to servers and managers
- Inform servers of any special billing requirements for cottage guests or hosted accounts to ensure accurate and seamless check handling
- Support accurate guest recognition, special requests, and service notes
- Assist in coordinating large parties, member groups, and peak service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry areas
- Support service recovery by communicating guest needs or concerns to leadership
- Uphold Champions Retreat service standards and hospitality culture
