Job Description
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a well-established full-service restaurant known for its vibrant atmosphere and delicious burgers that go beyond traditional expectations. With a laid-back yet energetic vibe, Red Robin prides itself on fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion for both its guests and team members. The company has a strong commitment to unbridled hospitality, emphasizing connection, fun, and generosity that reflects in its service style. Being one of the industry leaders, Red Robin offers a dynamic work environment where growth opportunities are abundant. Many current management members began their careers as hourly team members, underlining the company’s dedication to internal career advancement and employee development.
The Host position at Red Robin is a key front-of-house role focused on creating excellent first impressions for guests. As the initial point of contact, the Host greets guests warmly, manages seating arrangements, and handles reservation logistics including wait lists when necessary. This role requires a positive, friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service skills, as Hosts contribute significantly to the overall dining experience and set the tone for guest interactions. Hosts support the team by efficiently managing guest flow and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates aged 17 or older who are enthusiastic about hospitality and have a genuine passion for making guests feel welcome. The role offers flexible work schedules, enabling a healthy work-life balance that suits varying availability. Compensation starts at $10.12 per hour and can go up to $12.22 based on experience and performance. Beyond the base pay, Hosts can benefit from referral bonuses, and an employee stock purchase program available after one year of service with adequate weekly hours.
Additional benefits available to this role include comprehensive health insurance options (health, vision, dental, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage for employees aged 18 and older), as well as a 401k retirement plan with company matching for eligible employees aged 21 and above. Paid time off accrues for employees meeting service and hour thresholds, promoting well-being and work-life balance. Team members also enjoy substantial discounts on Red Robin food—50 percent for the employee and 25 percent for their family members—making it an attractive employment opportunity for those who love great food and excellent customer service.
Red Robin continuously accepts applications, offering ongoing opportunities for those eager to join a company that values its team members as much as its customers. The company’s mission is straightforward but impactful: to make every experience fresh, fun, memorable, and to leave guests smiling. By joining Red Robin, you’re not just taking a job—you’re becoming part of a community passionate about hospitality and growth. Embark on your career journey with Red Robin and enjoy the rich opportunities for personal development and advancement in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
