- must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations

Job Duties
- Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction
- demonstrates an understanding of menu and accurately explains it to customers
- checks table settings for proper presentation and completeness
- graciously greets guests and escorts them to a table balancing customer flow
- utilizes seating chart and knows table numbers and sections
- seats guests and provides menus, informing them of their server's name
- facilitates dining room operation and communicates with service personnel
- informs Manager on Duty of service bottlenecks
- assists servers with securing food or beverage items and clearing tables
- maintains cleanliness of the customer restroom and dining room floor
- handles guest check payment and cash transactions
- interacts with guests to ensure positive dining experience and manages customer complaints
- assists with takeout or dishwashing tasks as requested
- thanks customers as they leave and invites them to return
- assists with trash removal and replaces bags
- performs daily and weekly cleaning and side work
- informs Manager on Duty of inventory needs
- participates in food and labor cost control
- maintains professional appearance
- abides by all company policies and dress requirements
