Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Positive and friendly demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality
  • Basic math skills for managing waitlists and seating arrangements
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and follow Chuy’s core rules
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude
  • Seat guests efficiently and manage the waiting list
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and restaurant entrance
  • Engage guests by introducing them to Chuy’s unique flavors and menu offerings
  • Ensure guests have a positive experience and invite them to return
  • Assist staff with various tasks during peak hours as needed
  • Promote a fun and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant
