Job Requirements

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift up to 30 lbs, and grasp
  • ability to stand and walk during entire shift
  • good hearing ability in loud environments
  • basic math skills including add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • meet all health regulations for food handling
  • ability to differentiate monetary denominations
  • ability to operate point of sale system
  • ability to work flexible hours including holidays, nights, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet guests immediately upon arrival in a friendly manner
  • seat guests at clean and dry tables using proper seating rotation
  • maintain guest waiting list and adhere to seating order procedures
  • describe promotions and suggestively sell while seating guests
  • take initial beverage orders
  • respond promptly and courteously to guest complaints
  • assist service personnel with beverage orders, refills, clearing and setting tables
  • handle cash, credit card, and discount transactions accurately
  • operate point of sale system
  • maintain proper supply of clean menus
  • keep foyer area clean, organized, and inviting
  • complete side-work including deep cleaning assignments
  • assist other team members without being asked
