Job Duties
- Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages
- Speak and interact with guests
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Be punctual and able to observe regular and constant attendance
- Contribute to a positive team environment
- Work busy shifts and multitask effectively
- Provide outstanding customer service and name recognition
- Greet guests warmly
- Set up the host stand and review reservations
- Open the restaurant on time
- Inspect dining rooms and table settings
- Examine menus and lists for condition
- Know menu ingredients and daily availability
- Assign seating with service standards
- Maintain station charts and cover counts
- Answer telephones and handle reservations
- Serve and clear food and beverages unobtrusively
- Cross train as directed
- Attend meetings and trainings
- Promote teamwork and a positive work environment
- Recommend service and product improvements
- Keep work area clean and tidy
- Follow payroll and uniform policies
- Report accidents properly
- Comply with departmental policies and standards
- Assist in other departments as assigned
