Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship management capabilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations beneficial
Job Duties
- Greet incoming and departing guests with a warm and gracious smile and eye contact
- Manage the flow of the dining area, including managing wait times, assigning guests a table, and escorting guests to their seats
- Professionally accommodate special needs and seating preferences for guests as much as possible
- Beginning from the moment a guest enters the restaurant, ensure that all guests are provided with the BelAir experience
- Communicate clearly, positively, and effectively with our guests, staff, and management
- Multitask the execution of duties, including assisting servers in cleaning and clearing tables, sweeping floors, and inspecting the restaurant for proper presentation
- Support the entire team with the completion of tasks such as to-go orders, serving our guests with chips, salsa, and water
- Take ownership of the host stand and all host duties
