Job Requirements

Flexible schedule
Reliable transportation
Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required
Mobility required during the entire shift
Ability to carry objects such as high-chair up to 15 pounds multiple times per shift
Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris, and clean booth seats
Previous hosting experience an asset

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous hosting or customer service experience preferred
Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with diverse groups of people
Friendly and approachable demeanor
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus

Job Duties

Greets both arriving and departing guests in a friendly manner and seats guests efficiently
Assists in maintaining overall guest flow throughout the restaurant
Opens doors for guests arriving and departing
Accommodates special needs such as boosters, highchairs, and disabilities
Manages the wait list during busy periods
Provides guest assistance to servers as needed
Maintains a clean and organized work area and completes assigned cleaning tasks
