Job Requirements

  • Must provide a minimum of 1-year full service restaurant experience or the equivalent
  • Must have accurate mathematic skills
  • Knowledge of menu and specials
  • Knowledge of restaurant layout including table numbers and station numbers
  • Must be willing and able to meet personal schedule requirements punctually
  • Must be warm, sincere, outgoing in personality
  • Must stand for long periods of time while on duty
  • Must move safely throughout all areas of the restaurant
  • Must work amidst noise in confined crowded spaces
  • Must be able to move chairs, transport high chairs and/or booster seats to tables when necessary
  • Must work nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Familiarity with restaurant layout including table numbers and station numbers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and seat them efficiently
  • Answer phones and take reservations accurately
  • Maintain an accurate waitlist during busy times
  • Bidding farewell to guests with a sincere and positive attitude
  • Maintain knowledge of the restaurant layout, table numbers and specials
  • Assist in ensuring the front-of-house area is welcoming and organized
  • Coordinate with serving staff to ensure smooth guest flow
