Job Requirements
- On your feet for the entire shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Talking with guests and answering phones throughout your shift
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Clear communication skills in person and on the phone
- Organized and confident using a POS or reservation system
- Comfortable handling basic math for party counts, bills, or reservations
- Previous host or customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet every guest like they’re family and seat them with intention
- Manage reservations and waitlists, making sure both guests and servers are set up for success
- Stay aware of what’s happening in the restaurant—events, crowd flow, table turns, and special requests
- Keep up with the menu, specials, 86’d items, drinks, and anything else guests may ask about
- Know your floor plan like the back of your hand—seat numbers, capacity, setup, and more
- Share info about local happenings or attractions to enhance the guest experience
