Job Requirements

  • Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
  • Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Basic English language and professional communication skills
  • Able to independently lift up to 15lbs for an extended period
  • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout your shift
  • Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping
  • Pushing and pulling
  • Lifting overhead
  • Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants with multiple levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Basic English language proficiency
  • Knowledge of food and beverage safety and sanitation standards
  • Professional and friendly demeanor

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive
  • Explain the restaurant's unique service style to guests
  • Manage the seating flow in the dining room effectively
  • Recognize and engage with both regular and first-time guests
  • Accommodate special needs and requests from guests
  • Maintain composure and provide excellent service under pressure
  • Ensure guests leave with a positive and memorable experience
