Job Requirements

  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
  • ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
  • knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • basic English language and professional communication skills
  • able to independently lift to 15lbs for an extended period
  • ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout your shift
  • must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • hand-eye coordination
  • reaching, bending, twisting, stooping
  • pushing and pulling
  • lifting overhead
  • must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required
  • basic food and beverage knowledge
  • ability to work well under pressure
  • strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests with warmth and hospitality
  • explain the unique service style of Nando's in a friendly and approachable manner
  • manage dining room flow and seating arrangements
  • recognize returning guests and provide personalized service
  • ensure safety and sanitation standards are followed
  • maintain poise and professionalism under pressure
  • coordinate with team members to deliver seamless guest experiences
