Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
- basic computer skills including familiarity with POS systems
- professional appearance and demeanor
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar is a plus

- flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet all guests with a warm, genuine, and professional demeanor
- manage reservations and seating arrangements using the restaurant’s POS or table management system
- provide guests with menus and answer initial questions about the concept, specials, and service style
- coordinate with servers and restaurant staff to ensure efficient table turnover and flow of service
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entryway
- uphold brand and service standards set by IHG and Hotel Indigo
- handle guest concerns or special requests promptly and effectively, escalating when necessary
- assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the character and story of the neighborhood
- support opening and closing duties as needed
