Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • basic computer skills including familiarity with POS systems
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar is a plus
  • professional appearance and positive attitude
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests with a warm, genuine, and professional demeanor
  • manage reservations and seating arrangements using the restaurant’s POS or table management system
  • provide guests with menus and answer initial questions about the concept, specials, and service style
  • coordinate with servers and restaurant staff to ensure efficient table turnover and flow of service
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entryway
  • uphold brand and service standards set by IHG and Hotel Indigo
  • handle guest concerns or special requests promptly and effectively, escalating when necessary
  • assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the character and story of the neighborhood
  • support opening and closing duties as needed
