Job Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a host in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
  • Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and hospitality
  • Knowledge and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Proficiency in communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage technology systems accurately
  • Problem-solving skills to handle difficult situations
  • Availability for flexible scheduling and open shifts

Job Qualifications

  • At least one full year of host experience in a high-volume, full-service environment
  • Commitment to creating an amazing and memorable guest experience
  • Knowledge of steps of service, food safety and sanitation, and phone etiquette
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to address and resolve problems quickly
  • Familiarity with restaurant technologies such as POS Toast, OpenTable, and Hot Schedules
  • Flexible schedule and open availability

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet and seat guests
  • Manage reservations and waitlists
  • Coordinate seating to optimize table turnover and guest comfort
  • Answer phones and communicate effectively with guests
  • Uphold hospitality standards including steps of service, food safety, and sanitation
  • Utilize POS Toast, OpenTable, and Hot Schedules with accuracy
  • Address guest concerns promptly and maintain a positive atmosphere
