Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must comply with Olive Garden’s health and safety policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor under pressure
  • Must be able to perform duties that require physical activity such as walking, standing, and light lifting

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service experience is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and warm demeanor
  • Manage the seating chart and guide guests to their assigned tables
  • Present clean menus and provide information about menu items and specials
  • Ensure guest and team member touch points are regularly sanitized and disinfected
  • Maintain a welcoming and safe environment for guests throughout their dining experience
  • Communicate effectively with the team to manage guest flow and wait times
  • Thank guests sincerely upon departure and invite them to return
