Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must comply with Olive Garden’s health and safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor under pressure
- Must be able to perform duties that require physical activity such as walking, standing, and light lifting
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and warm demeanor
- Manage the seating chart and guide guests to their assigned tables
- Present clean menus and provide information about menu items and specials
- Ensure guest and team member touch points are regularly sanitized and disinfected
- Maintain a welcoming and safe environment for guests throughout their dining experience
- Communicate effectively with the team to manage guest flow and wait times
- Thank guests sincerely upon departure and invite them to return
