Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a host in a high-volume, fine dining setting
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
  • Must have high energy, great communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team
  • Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs
  • Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service

Job Duties

  • Greet and escort guests to tables in a gracious and professional manner
  • Interact with guests and fellow staff members in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner to ensure all guests have an exemplary dining experience
  • Greet and acknowledge VIPs in a professional manner
  • Control the flow of guests coming into the restaurant and bar
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain a proactive approach to solving any guest questions or problems
  • Direct guest to the appropriate waiting area and provide table updates
