Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a valid food service permit
  • consistent punctuality and attendance
  • well-groomed appearance and uniform compliance
  • knowledge of food and beverage menu prior to shifts
  • ability to accurately enter orders into POS
  • ability to work flexible hours including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • physical capability to stand, walk, bend frequently and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • follow all company and state safety regulations
  • ability to engage positively with guests and team members
  • willingness to attend ongoing trainings
  • compliance with company policies and state liquor laws

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent communication skills
  • previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Obtain a valid food service permit
  • consistently arrive to work as scheduled, prepared for shift responsibilities
  • arrive well-groomed and in proper uniform
  • prepare host desk area before shift
  • maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, seasonal beers and drinks
  • follow all steps of service
  • accurately enter to-go orders into POS
  • assist other employees to ensure guest satisfaction
  • follow company policies on cash, credit and gift card transactions
  • adhere to company discounts and promotions policies
  • perform basic mathematics
  • engage guests, coworkers and managers positively
  • initiate conversations with guests while seating
  • ensure guest satisfaction from entry to exit
  • knowledge of company products, services, promotions and events
  • follow management directions for side work and cleaning
  • adhere to state liquor laws and company alcohol service policies
  • attend all scheduled training sessions
  • comply with company employee handbook and department manual
  • minimize china and glass breakage
  • efficiently use Open Table program
