Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours
  • position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion
  • flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred

  • basic knowledge of food and beverage terminology
  • previous customer service experience preferred
  • ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure

Job Duties

  • Learn the menu, including the daily specials and accurately describe how dishes are prepared
  • check the dining room constantly for cleanliness and organization and restock condiments on the table as necessary
  • greet guests warmly as they enter to create a positive first impression of the restaurant
  • help clear and wipe down tables and set up tables with utensils and glassware for the next party
  • handle booking of reservations, be quick to solve seating problems, and troubleshoot any phone inquiries from customers
