Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the restaurant for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry items up to 20 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic computer skills for reservation system use
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus
- Previous host/hostess experience preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude as they arrive
- Manage waitlist and reservations, estimate wait times and comfort guests
- Escort guests to tables, present menus, provide assistance
- Seat guests according to seating charts and server rotation to optimize table turnover
- Take and confirm reservations over phone and system, maintain up-to-date reservation book
- Communicate special requests and guest preferences to servers and kitchen staff
- Provide guests with information about menu items, daily specials, promotions
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, special requests with professionalism
- Maintain communication with servers, bussers, kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service
- Keep host stand and waiting area clean, organized, and well-stocked
