Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage
- Understanding of customer service principles
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor under pressure
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is an asset
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Duties
- Greets all guests upon arrival and bids farewell to all guests upon departure
- Display a good telephone voice that is well understood and conveys a pleasant, caring, and polite attitude
- Distributes to guests the menu, wine list, wine by the glass list, etc.
- Maintain knowledge of food and beverage product pricing structure and service standards, wine service standards, menu specials, restaurant hours of operations and special events, etc.
- Follows the specified format for reservation taking and confirmation
- Maintain knowledge of hotel accommodations for the handicapped and be able to communicate to them
- Assist in the set up and breakdown of food and/or beverage displays
- Adheres to all life/safety procedures
