Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage
  • Understanding of customer service principles

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Greets all guests upon arrival and bids farewell to all guests upon departure
  • Display a good telephone voice that is well understood and conveys a pleasant, caring, and polite attitude
  • Distributes to guests the menu, wine list, wine by the glass list, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage product pricing structure and service standards, wine service standards, menu specials, restaurant hours of operations and special events, etc.
  • Follows the specified format for reservation taking and confirmation
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel accommodations for the handicapped and be able to communicate to them
  • Assist in the set up and breakdown of food and/or beverage displays
  • Adheres to all life/safety procedures
