Job Requirements
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a host in a food and beverage environment preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment

- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Host experience in a food and beverage environment highly desirable
- Excellent guest service abilities while working directly with the public
- Basic mathematics skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly
- Able to develop cooperative working relationships with others
- Able to stand for long periods of time
Job Duties
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
- When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant
- When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and number of people in party
- Call out the name and number of the party when tables become available
- Provide guests with estimated waiting time
- Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
- Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
- Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server's name
- Inspect the table for proper presentation and completeness
- Keep accurate guest count to ensure proper and efficient seating rotation
- Relay messages to servers and bus persons as needed
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
