Job Requirements
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
- able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
- restaurant experience a plus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior customer service experience preferred
- familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask efficiently
- basic knowledge of restaurant operations
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Job Duties
- Greeting guests as they enter
- putting guests on a waiting list as necessary
- seating guests at tables and providing menus
- assigning guests to tables they prefer while managing table rotation
- answering phone calls and taking orders to go
- maintaining knowledge of the menu
- operating point-of-sale systems accurately
