Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to independently lift up to 15lbs for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs while carrying food items and dishes throughout shifts
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and lift overhead
- Able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Job Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and manage seating arrangements
- Explain Nando's unique service style in a friendly and approachable manner
- Maintain control of the dining room flow to accommodate all guests efficiently
- Recognize returning guests and provide personalized service
- Ensure every guest leaves with a positive and lasting impression
