Job Requirements

  • Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
  • Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Basic English language and professional communication skills
  • Able to independently lift up to 15lbs for an extended period
  • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout the shift
  • Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • Required hand-eye coordination
  • Capable of reaching, bending, twisting, stooping
  • Ability to push and pull effectively
  • Capacity to lift overhead
  • Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants with multiple levels

  • Maintain superior service and poise under pressure
  • Accommodate special guest needs and ensure every guest leaves satisfied
  • Represent the Nando's brand as a positive and engaging ambassador
