Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to independently lift up to 15 pounds for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for 8 to 10 hours per day
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, and pull
- Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and hospitable manner
- Explain the restaurant's unique service style to guests
- Manage guest seating and control the flow of the dining room
- Recognize regular guests and provide personalized service
- Ensure guests' needs and special requests are accommodated
- Maintain poise and superior service under pressure
- Represent the Nando's brand positively through tone, words, and body language
