Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
  • Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding or unfolding as required
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Effective communication skills including talking and hearing with sufficient visual acuity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the service or hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Experience operating a multi-line telephone system
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive member information with confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Maintain Invited service standards as outlined in the F&B service training program
  • Greet members and guests by name, providing a warm and welcoming experience
  • Seat members and guests while ensuring high-quality service and attention to their needs
  • Converse with members and guests in a professional manner, staying calm under pressure
  • Assist service staff as needed, adhering to Invited standards of service
  • Ensure the host podium is organized and close out the podium at the end of each shift
  • Complete daily assignments and side work including keeping work areas organized and sanitized, and stocking supplies
  • Support employees and contribute to team efforts to deliver the 3-steps of service
  • Notify management of any members or guests complaints immediately and practice effective service recovery
  • Handle last-minute requests and changes from members or guests professionally
  • Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management
  • Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions
  • Maintain professionalism and commitment to excellence in interactions
  • Follow safe working practices and encourage others to do the same
  • Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain required certifications
  • Address and resolve challenges using available resources
  • Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities
  • Wear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards
