Job Requirements

  • Must have at least high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year restaurant experience
  • ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • must be at least 18 years old and legally able to serve alcohol
  • able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • capable of standing and walking for extended periods
  • able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Act as the first and last point of contact for guests, representing the restaurant’s culture and providing exceptional guest service
  • think on your toes, make quick adjustments and decisions prioritizing guest experience
  • manage phone lines and take reservations according to procedures
  • handle the online reservation and table management platform
  • greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus
  • gracefully manage pressure from guests and staff simultaneously, exhibiting patience and understanding
  • demonstrate superior organizational skills and coordinate seating strategically
  • maintain communication with the kitchen and management about floor and booking status
  • perform side work and assist with proper opening and closing of the restaurant
  • promote the restaurant’s community and culture by demonstrating respect, positive energy, and professionalism
  • assist servers and staff as needed with serving food and alcohol
  • promote and support the restaurant’s eco-conscious vision
