Job Requirements

  • At least one year of restaurant host experience required
  • Positive energy and readiness to assist support staff
  • Effective communication with managers, employees, and guests
  • Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting

  • Effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical capability for standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Job Duties

  • Take reservations using the online reservations system in OpenTable
  • Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival and thank guests as they leave
  • Provide guests with estimated waiting times when seating is limited
  • Notify party when table becomes available
  • Accommodate special seating requests when possible
  • Act as a liaison between the kitchen and dining room
  • Relay messages to support staff and managers as needed
