Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior food service industry experience preferred
  • ability to read, write, and speak English
  • willingness to wear personal protective equipment
  • ability to comply with hospital policies and procedures
  • physical ability to perform moderate stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling
  • availability to work rotating shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior food service industry experience preferred
  • ability to read, write, and speak English
  • strong attention to detail
  • good physical stamina for extended periods of standing and walking
  • ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Delivers meal trays to patient rooms
  • retrieves trays after meals
  • transports food trays between kitchen and patient floors
  • adheres to safety and hygiene protocols
  • wears required personal protective equipment
  • assists in maintaining cleanliness and order in food service areas
  • communicates effectively with food service supervisors and healthcare staff
