Job Requirements

  • Six months previous restaurant experience preferred
  • a pattern of regular, prompt, dependable attendance required
  • ability to handle the pressures of coordinating a wide range of activities while delivering superior service to guests
  • exceptional communication skills
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • ability to provide exceptional guest service
  • excellent work ethic with attention to detail
  • basic computer literacy skills
  • CA Food Handler's Card upon hire required
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • must pass a pre-employment, post offer background check

Job Duties

  • Support the restaurant by comfortably greeting guests upon arrival and offering a fond farewell at their exit
  • maintain an organized and accurate wait list while communicating large parties with supervisors on duty
  • manage table reservations through software applications
  • ensure guests are seated at clean and properly maintained tables and are greeted immediately by their server or bartender
  • organize and set tables and chairs for an excellent guest experience
  • ensure all equipment, tools, and working areas are safe, clean, well maintained, and in proper working condition
  • actively participate in daily, weekly, monthly trainings and operational updates to ensure up-to-date knowledge
  • help maintain cleanliness in guest areas such as floors, walls, restrooms, and windows
  • may be assigned additional work within the restaurant operation as needed
