Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple guests efficiently
- Knowledge of food service and buffet operations is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic computer skills for seating and reservation systems
Job Duties
- Greets guests as they enter the restaurant and offers a sincere, personal invitation to return as the guests leave
- Offers assistance to any guests who may need help
- Friendly and courteous on the phone
- Seats guests in a prompt and efficient manner
- Follows seating protocol and gives buffet instructions to guests
- Knows and follows position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery
- Knows what is on buffet for the day and has a full knowledge of menu and prices
- Maintains organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host station and surrounding areas
- May help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct
- Follows local health department laws
- Performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met
