  • prior experience in a customer service or restaurant host role
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • knowledge of cash handling and payment transactions
  • ability to answer and direct phone calls professionally
  • willingness to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Responsible for greeting and seating guests
  • know how to read and use the seating chart and wait list
  • knowledge of Rib Crib products, preparation methods, portion sizes, and prices
  • discuss menu items with customers in person or on the phone
  • answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
  • take call-in orders and handle catering questions
  • oversee cleanliness and organization of cashier stand and restrooms
  • perform stocking services for the to-go station and package to-go orders
  • record and analyze cash flow including opening, running, and closing duties
  • demonstrate teamwork by assisting with any task as needed
  • perform other duties as assigned
